Peace One Day - One Revolution

Everyday, the world turns one revolution on its axis, and everyday, the world is filled with war and unrest. During the time there is no threat of war, people can accomplish peaceful feats. In honor of Peace One Day, a day of global cease fire on September 21, a series of guerilla ads and a Google partnership will lead you to a microsite. The microsite will have a user submitted live feed where people can add their acts of peace.

Google will change their logo to the Peace One Day logo.

When hovered over with the mouse, a widget will appear with the count of people who have signed the truce, and the countdown to Peace One Day.

In Google Maps, a layover will appear with the Peace One Day markers as seen on the microsite. The markers will display the widget when hovered over as well.

The microsite will explain the cause. The user submitted live feed will link all the "acts of peace" to user submitted live feed. Below people can sign the truce for a chance to win one of two vacation packages to either the three month countdown festival in Ireland, or the Peace One Day Festival in London. People can increase their chances of winning per social media site they share.

Users can download the widget to their own personal site or blog to support the cause. If they link their site with the widget to the user submitted live feed, they can also increase their chances of winning.

The site continues with news postings that lead you to the full site.
